Toronto Baths Revitalisation

Out with the old and in with the new!

Today I joined Minister for Hunter Yasmin Catley MP and Cr Kay Fraser - Lake Macquarie Mayor to get cracking on the $1 million renovation of Toronto Baths.

Funded through the NSW Government Places to Swim program, the revamp will see the baths fully enclosed and netted to protect swimmers.

The project will also involve installing an accessibility ramp into the water and new boards along the jetty.

Toronto Baths have been a popular spot for the past 100 years and with these improvements, we hope they will be enjoyed for generations to come.

The baths should be ready to welcome swimmers, boaties, anglers and walkers later this year.
