Alliance Avenue/Wyee Road Intersection Upgrade

Morisset is one of the fastest growing areas of Lake Macquarie, and I know we need to do more about the roads and infrastructure to handle future congestion and increased traffic.

Today, Lake Macquarie Mayor, Adam Shultz and I announced a multi-million dollar upgrade of the busy intersection of Wyee Road and Alliance Avenue which will include a four-legged roundabout.

The NSW government is contributing $2.5 million towards the project, while development contributions paid to Lake Macquarie City Council and direct funding from Cedar Mill developer, Winarch Group will pay the balance.

Investing in Morisset's main roads is absolutely vital to ensure our roads remain safe, accessible and are able to cater to our rapidly growing population.

This upgrade is in addition to the $76 million upgrade, currently in the planning phase for Mandalong Road.
