Cooranbong Public School Presentation 2024

As the end of the year approaches, preparations for 2025 begin!

Thank you to Cooranbong Public School for inviting me to your 2024 Presentation Day!

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the school's new leadership team and to Angel Raad, a quiet achiever who won the Principal's Award, and to William Goss who is the Dux of the school.

Congratulations also to year 5 student Henry Freebody, who won the Attendance Prize Draw, of which I was a proud sponsor.

School attendance is just so important, and we are living in a day and age where school refusal is a real problem.

To be eligible for the Attendance Prize students had to have an impeccable school attendance record.

If a student misses one day of school per week, they will miss out on 40 days of school or eight weeks of learning in one year. This equates to 2.5 years of lost learning over their entire school journey.
