Heaven Can Wait Charity Sailing Regatta raises $85,000

The Heaven Can Wait - Charity Sailing Regatta team have done it again!
The 19th annual charity regatta raised an incredible $85,000 (for the second consecutive year) for two life saving organisations.
The Cancer Council NSW today received $80,000, which will go to the Home Care section of the Hunter Branch.
This money will help people living with cancer manage expenses for things like cleaning, gardening and shopping as well as transport to and from appointments.
Marine Rescue Lake Macquarie received $5,000 to support their wonderful organisation.
They do such a good job keeping everyone safe on Lake Macquarie, last year alone they responded to 620 incidents.
As Patron of the Heaven Can Wait Charity Sailing Regatta, it was wonderful to be able to make my own little donation to these invaluable services.
