ANZAC Day 2025

25th April 2025
More than 580,000 Australians' have served in the Australian Defence Force, participating in a multitude of wars and peace-keeping missions, and each ANZAC Day we pause to remember the heroic actions, determination and great personal sacrifice they have made to keep our country and way of life safe.

More than 580,000 Australians' have served in the Australian Defence Force, participating in a multitude of wars and peace-keeping missions, and each ANZAC Day we pause to remember the heroic actions, determination and great personal sacrifice they have made to keep our country and way of life safe.

Today marks 110-years since Australian and New Zealand Army Corps landed at Anzac Cove in Gallipoli, and it was wonderful to see Lake Macquarie residents out in their thousands attending various ANZAC Day services.

I attended the Speers Point Dawn Service, as well as events at Wangi Wangi, Dora Creek, and at Rathmines Catalina Memorial Park, while my staff represented me at Toronto.

Lest We Forget.
