Lakeside Retirement Village visit

This morning I visited Lakeside Retirement Village in Bonnells Bay to meet the residents and chat about all things Lake Macquarie.

We discussed local infrastructure projects and road improvements, and what NSW Government is doing to support growth and development in our area.

I also spoke about a Morisset Hospital master plan to protect the site as it transitions away from life as a health facility to a Sports Centre. While also, highlighting the need for better access to public health services especially in south Lake Macquarie.

Private development is booming in Lake Macquarie and while it is exciting to see our region grow, it needs to be supported by infrastructure and services.

It was a pleasure to speak with the residents, I look forward to visiting again in the future.
