Supporting Community Preschool based teachers and educators

I stand with our incredible Community Preschool based teachers and educators in their demand for fair and equitable pay!

Despite providing safe, high-quality, and accessible early childhood education, these dedicated professionals are paid 15% less than their counterparts in long daycare and 30% less than teachers in Department of Education schools.

Last month, I wrote to the Minister urging the NSW Government to deliver fair and equal pay for community preschool teachers.

Today, I supported Independent Education Union of Australia NSW / ACT Branch educators across NSW rallying for what they rightly deserve: pay that reflects their skill, care, and impact on our young children.
