Did you know the historic Toronto Train Station isn't just an old abandoned station?
It's actually the Lake Macquarie Heritage Centre, home of the Lake Macquarie District Historical Society!
The Station is open to visit with a gold coin donation, 10am-4pm Wednesdays.
It will also open this weekend Saturday 1pm - 4pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm as part of Lake Macquarie City Council's annual, week-long, History Illuminated festival which celebrates stories of people, place and environment around Lake Macquarie.
Come down and meet the amazing team keeping our history alive in Toronto and learn about the old station and it's local significance.
