Young Leadership celebrated at Avondale Adventurers and Pathfinders Investiture Ceremony

I had the pleasure of joining more than 200 young people from the Avondale Adventurers and Pathfinders at their annual Investiture ceremony in Cooranbong at Avondale Memorial Seven Day Adventist Church.

It was a great chance to recognise the hard work and leadership shown by so many local kids, supported by an incredible team of volunteers. The Pathfinders have been part of our community since 1956 and continue to help young people build skills, confidence and teamwork.

I’m also pleased the NSW Community Building Partnership grant will help upgrade vital equipment like radios, satellite communication tools, abseiling gear and storage. These improvements will make camps safer and give our young leaders even more opportunities to grow.
