New Community Space open at Bernie Goodwin Oval

How good is this?!

The wrappings have come off the new community space at Bernie Goodwin Oval in Morisset, and it is ready for action.

I love the fact that some of our local teenage girls played a key role in its design, highlighting the importance of including circular spaces where groups can come together and connect - in a safe, fun and inclusive environment.

There's also some great new play equipment that Member for Charlestown Jodie Harrison MP, Adam Shultz - Mayor of Lake Macquarie and I took the chance to test out!

The upgrades were funded through the NSW Government's Safer Cities program and delivered by the Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation , it's great to see this space come to life.
