It's a place where people in the most desperate of circumstances can come for help. Whether it's people experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, mental health challenges, financial crisis or simply need support and a hot meal.

Founder Maria Martin established Survivors R Us after experiencing domestic violence herself and knowing first-hand how overwhelming it can be when you don't know where to turn. Her life experience shaped the charity to become what it is today.

A huge thank you to the incredible team of 220 volunteers who have spent the past three months transforming the new premises.

Importantly, unlike their former home SRU owns this building after securing a $2.8 million Federal Government grant with the support of Pat Conroy MP.

Welcome home Survivors R Us, you have created a wonderful facility that will help so many in our community and beyond.
