ANZAC Day 2026

What a beautiful day for our community to gather together in remembrance of our ANZAC heroes.

My staff and I attended ANZAC Services across the Lake Macquarie electorate and saw an amazing turnout, with around 5,000 people attending the Dawn Service at Speers Point alone.

I was pleased to join Adam Shultz - Mayor of Lake Macquarie for the Speers Point service before heading over to Rathmines and speaking to those gathered.

The Wangi Wangi march stepped off following the military vehicle parade, which is always a great site to see making its way through the town.

I am proud to see the spirit of ANZAC is burning bright in Lake Macquarie.
