Toronto cafe sets new course for people with disabilities

I really enjoy popping into the Chars 58 cafe at Toronto for lunch or a quick coffee. If you're not aware of it, Chars provides opportunities for people with disabilities to develop job skills and to be part of a workforce.

I met Matthew a year ago when the cafe opened and whenever I go in there he's happy and friendly and working hard.

It's a fantastic place operated by Response Services underneath the Riva apartments on Victory Parade, so call in if you're passing. I highly recommend the coffee! I'm pictured here with four of the fantastic staff (from left) manager Haydan, Matthew, Brianna and manager Brooke - the awesome foursome!
