After a few marathon debates this week which went close to midnight, the 56th Parliament has now finished it's four-year term.

It's been a pretty productive one overall, certainly in the Lake Macquarie electorate.

Great to see that the Parliament finished the term with more Independents than it started with, and perhaps we'll see more after the election next March!

Thanks to my great friends and Parliamentary colleagues, the Independent Member for Sydney Alex Greenwich, and the Independent Dr Joe McGirr MP - Member for Wagga Wagga
