Today CDC NSW announced the official launch of its state-wide Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program, a vital initiative designed to assist passengers living with non-visible disabilities.
Passengers have the option to wear or display a sunflower lanyard, discreetly signalling to drivers and staff they may require additional support, patience, or assistance during their journey.
Non-visible disabilities can include conditions such as autism, anxiety disorders, chronic pain and dementia.
