I do not accept political donations at all.
I’m absolutely independent and none of my decisions are influenced by donors, party bosses or lobby groups. My campaigns are, and have always been, self-funded.
This is not to say all donations should be banned, good people shouldn’t be disadvantaged because they can’t afford a campaign.
It's my personal choice to put the interests of our community first and above everything else, every time.
