Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions from next week on T C Frith Avenue for construction work to be carried out between Seventh and First streets at Boolaroo.
Construction, including asphalt work, survey investigations and adjusting utilities and drainage, is continuing as part of the Speers Point transport improvements project.
To minimise the impact to motorists, night work will be carried out between 6pm and 6am on Sunday to Friday nights from Sunday 13 September to Friday 2 October, weather permitting.
Stop/slow traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists during the night work.
Day work will also be carried out Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm, weather permitting, and at times if required, 8am to 6pm Saturday. There will be intermittent traffic stoppages during day work.
Heavy vehicles with a ground contact or with overall width wider than three metres are advised to contact the project team at least one day ahead of movement on 0427 813 728. Freight operators are advised the project operates on UHF 19.
Please note, vehicles travelling under a permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator. Vehicles travelling under a Notice must consult their relevant enforceable network map to confirm a suitable approved alternative route.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience.
