My office can provide support with HomesNSW and social housing matters in the following ways:
Social Housing Applications
If you require support with social housing, you must first have an application submitted with HomesNSW. Should your circumstances require urgent consideration or priority housing allocation, my team are able to contact HomesNSW on your behalf to discuss your pending application for housing, transfer or priority allocation.
It is important to note, my office has no jurisdictional powers over the processes of HomesNSW, or non-government housing providers, with regard to your place on the social housing wait list.
Link2Home
Should you be at immediate risk of homelessness, or experiencing homelessness and require emergency accommodation, you can access support from the following places.
- Link2Home - 1800 152 152
- Link2Home Veterans and Ex-Service - 1800 326 989
Link2home is the NSW statewide homelessness information and referral telephone service. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year.
The service provides information, assessments and referrals to homelessness support and accommodation services in NSW everyday from 9am to 10pm.
From 10pm to 9am, Link2home will only provide information and assessments. Referral to accommodation and support services is not possible during these hours. It will refer people to emergency services if needed.
You can also contact your local Homes NSW office or community housing provider for advice and assistance. Use the following link to locate and contact your local Homes NSW and community housing offices near you.
You can also access emergency housing support if you or your family are victims of domestic violence. The Domestic and Family Violence Housing Support page has information to support you. Otherwise, you can contact the following agencies for help:

Please include the following details:

While my office has the ability to pursue your maintenance matters, it has no jurisdiction over the operational decisions made by local housing offices.
